They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42 (NIV)
While this verse was penned 2000 years ago to describe the early church, at Shepherd’s Grace Church we believe it describes our fellowship of believers as well. While we can experience some of this on Sunday mornings before, during and after the worship service, we feel that the sweetest fellowship occurs in small group settings. At Shepherd’s Grace, we call our small groups “Flocks” in keeping with our church’s identity.
Flocks are lead by couples who have demonstrated strong faith, dedicated service, and hearts full of caring. Flocks usually meet in the leader’s home or the home of another member. Some flocks enjoy a meal together while others share a dessert or snack. Some flocks incorporate times of worship in song. All flocks spend time in the Word and in prayer for one another and the needs of the larger body.
Each flock has its own identity and structure. Individuals and families are encouraged to visit one or more flocks before joining one. Consistent participation in one flock is encouraged to allow the deepening of the ties that bind us together.
Below is a list of flock leaders along with information about where and when they meet. Feel free to use the printed church directory to contact them directly.
