This is a time of study and discussion based on the previous week's Sunday morning sermon.  This is a great time to discuss points brought out in the sermon, resolve questions you have about the verses, and possibly "deep dive" into specific areas of the text.  In addition, we will take a look at the upcoming sermon verses as well.

Serving the Lord Together

Just as Joshua declared his intentions and called the men of Israel to lead their families in serving the Lord, the men of Shepherd's Grace Church are stepping out in faith to do the same.  We're building on existing ministries and creating new opportunities for every man to be involved.

We are:

  • Focused on the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
  • Centered on developing your intimacy with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit , a desire for God's Word and a diligent prayer life.
  • Devoted and dedicated to your spiritual growth, leadership development, mentoring, fellowship, and community outreach.

Our model comes from the New Testament.  The Apostle Paul was active in ministry and commit to vital relationships with other men.  Barnabus was a more mature believer and a source of encouragement.  Timothy was younger and needed guidance and encouragement.  Regardless of where we each are at in your walk of faith, there are times when each of us act as a Barnabus, Paul or Timothy.

Below is a basic outline of the ministry model and some opportunities for every man to get involved.
